Happy Birthday, America. This is still the best country anywhere in the world and I’m proud to be an American!

Playoffs

Posted by Abby - January 18th, 2010

Now that both of my teams are out of the playoffs, the Titans never even made it to the playoffs and the Cardnials lost this wekend I am now onboard the Brett farve bandwagon and I hope to see a Vikings and Jets Super Bowl this year. My good friend Dale is sending me a Vikings hat to wear and I will be large and loud in my support of the Minnesota Vikings.

Face Book

Posted by Abby - October 13th, 2009

It seems that I am the last human that has not joined Face Book. I have resisted this fad as long as I can, I need help to keep myself busy and not get involved with mafia crap and farm this and guess that. I have just embraced the internet and really do not want my life as an open book to all of my “friends” that have added me on face book. I will not join it this week and I hope to have the urge under control for the rest of my life, but I may need a help group to get me past the urge to join.

Am I old

Posted by Abby - September 30th, 2009

The biggest question that I have been asked this week is do you feel old now that you have turned 50? The most correct response is YES. I do not really feel any different than I did on Saturday, but when you hit a  milestone in your life you are bound to be a little different, and I guess that makes me feel a little old. I do not see a huge change in my life at this stage but I am open to all possibilities at this point. Now I have set my sights on the second half of my life and look out world, here comes Abby!

Music in the family

Posted by Abby - June 19th, 2009

My oldest son has decided to take up music as his life’s ambition. I will support this dream because I love my son and I love music. I have bought him a Reason Drum kit and it seems that Reason drum kits are the top of the line and that is what he wants to fill his dream.
All of the musicians that I know here in music city are talking about the royalty free music sites and this has gotten my son to talking about royalty free music and I am not sure if he know a lot about it or not, I love the music sites here in Nashville and I hope to see my son playing there someday soon.
