Where has the summer gone? Now that September is here we will be getting very busy, getting ready for the holidays again. I can not believe that summer is gone. Fall is a great time of year and it is very pretty here when the leaves start to turn and it gets cool at night. It is also the start of football season and that is always a good thing to me. The moles have started digging in the yard and the other critters are getting ready for winter. I need some fire wood stacked up for winter but I am not going to mess with it today it is to nice outside.

The price of gasoline has started to go back up this week and it looks like by the time that spring gets here we will have gasoline prices over $2 a gallon. Even though it is a far cry from the over $4 a gallon we had last fall every penny the price goes up costs me money in higher expenses for me and my drivers. Lets hope they get control over the rising gasoline prices and get the price down where it belongs.

Kevin Costner the movie star is bringing his band to the Grand Old Opry on Saturday night I can not wait to go see this show, I did not even know that Kevin Costner had a band let alone a band that was good enough to play at the Ryman. I know that several actors have made a good living off their musical talent including Billy Bob Thornton who we saw at the Levon helm concert, i think if an actor has enough talent they are more than welcome to sing for their supper too.
